I'm Charlaine Coetzee Hirst, I hail from Cape Town, South Africa and I live and instruct in one of the greatest golfing meccas in the world, Pinehurst, North Carolina.I was recruited to play collegiate golf at Longwood College, VA, where I was a 4-time All-American and a 3-time Division II National Champion.For 9 years I competed on the LPGA Futures Tour, and qualified 5 times for the final stage of LPGA Q-School. In 2009 I won the LPGA T&CP Southeast Section Championship. I competed in the 2010 Wegmans LPGA Championship. I'm currently a member of the LPGA Teaching Division. I can help improve your game.
Student - Centered. I work with students as individuals to achieve an enjoyment of the game, while considering factors such as physical abilities/limitations and the student's short term and long term goals.
Understand Your Golf Swing. I give you the knowledge necessary to help you understand your golf swing, and give you the tools to help you help yourself.
Fun. I believe in a focused teaching session, but I always strive to make it fun.
Minimal Homework!I send you home with a lesson summary and a drill to help further your understanding of your swing. (not really homework!).
